Card of the Week—8 of Wands—Fast Flow of Forward Movement

8 of rodsThis week, there’s an amazing space and opportunity to Get in your flow. Be ready to hear some good news via call, text, letter, email, or around the way—you’re gonna hear some good tidbits, good fortune, and sweet-to-the-ears messages.

Don’t avoid difficult decisions or conversations this week. It’s time to deal. Energetic momentum to make things happen is upon us. Use this energy to move forward in your life. You are on the right track. You are in your flow.

If you’re wondering about whether or not something’s going to work out, it’s likely that it will, and you’ll get feedback fast. The eight of rods is also telling us that we’re falling fast into a positive situation: love, work, partnership—keep your head up and your ears open… oh, it’s on.

It’s time to act on opportunities that are sitting on the table. If you’ve been thinking about advertising your biz, do it now. If you’ve been putting off a trip to see the fam, do it now. If you’ve been procrastinating in some way…. It’s been on your weekly to-do list for a month and keeps getting pushed to the next week… Do it now! Get things off your plate so that you can move forward.

Manifesting can be very powerful right now. Keep your thoughts positive, create the vision of your dreams, and release the outcome. Let the Universe do her job.

If you’ve been waiting around for an answer or a sign, wait no more. It’s here this week.

8 of Wands

Oh! Fast Communication of the positive variety, by email, fax, phone, or in-person—it’s exciting and swift information on it’s way to you. This is a word that I made up—but for me this card means quickity! (It makes sense.)

Up:
This card indicates that things are picking up, orders are being made, marketing efforts are coming into fruition. It promotes fast timing for a positive change of plans or turn of events. Falling in love quickly ( surrounding cups cards), needing more communication or marketing for business (wands), hiring a quick thinker that is imperative to a business group (swords), or money coming in unexpectedly (pentacles). The seeker has luck for travel at this time and is advised to take all risk-related offers. It might feel as if things are too good to be true, but they’re good to go.

Reversed:
oooof. Talk about nothing going down how it was supposed to. Car troubles. Computer troubles. Misunderstandings. Delays in travel. Possible stagnation in work and business. The best case scenario is to deal with old business and organize things that you’ve been neglecting. (Feels like Mercury Retrograde.)

Suits and Their Astrological Attributes

Each suit has astrological attributes depending on their element.
If you know anything about astrology, even if you’re not an astrologer (I’m not), it’s helpful when interpreting the feelings of the pip cards and court card personalities.

Yes/No Cards

Aces are all Yes/No Cards.

Though any card in the deck can give insight as to whether a situation is Divinely purposed, the Aces reveal definite raw energy for the situation at hand.

Ace of Cups

Up: A Divine yes that is emotionally fulfilling and heart purposed.
Reversed: A no. The situation is not going to fulfill your heart’s desire.

Ace of Swords

Up: The strongest of Ace yeses. This cuts through to the higher self’s pragmatic knowing sidestepping the ego’s fears and fog.
Reversed: A strong no. Perhaps a Hell no. Don’t do it. Absolutely not. Don’t go there. Not gonna happen.

Ace of Wands

Up: A yes with creative passion behind it. A go for it with projects and situations. Usually revolving around work, hobbies, and new endeavors.
Reversed: A no—Somehow things just don’t click. The group doesn’t jive, the project isn’t sound or set up well, the foundation is not strong and flakey even.

Ace of Pentacles

Up: Woot! yes. Spiritually and Financially this is a yes. It’s a powerful yes that needs staying on top of. Keeping your mission at the forefront at all times. It works when you are aligned with intentions that stay focused.
Reversed: Intentions are not quite right for this. Money isn’t there. Mission isn’t true or sound somehow.
