Card of the Week—3 of Pentacles Reversed + The Moon = Issues Not Confronted

3 of pentacles ReversedEmotions are bubbling and you need to deal with them before you freak out at work.

Three of Pentacles Reversed and The Moon

When Issues remain underground, functioning successfully is going to have some twigs in the spokes. The 3 of pentacles can bring attention to work or school, which indicates that these issues that you’re keeping under wraps are affecting your workplace, studyplace, or volunteerplace.

Sometimes it’s hard to focus on your emotional needs, or needs at all for that matter, when you’re in a place where expectations are somewhat formatted. But it’s time to honor yourself and your feelings and figure out what you need to be performing at your full potential in whatever space you’re in.

Eat when you need to, have things around you that inspire you when you see them, take a break when you’re feeling anxious or spent.

Grounding out energy in the workplace and really filling your own space with your own energy can help dilute frustration. It can also clear out any doubts in yourself and your dreams or plans for your future in regards to purpose and life’s work. This is a time when dealing with situations head-on is important.

Passive Aggressive reactions are really not going to help you right now. You’ve got to be proactive and honest. Continuing to let an undercurrent of yuck flow, or trying to ignore or compartmentalize what’s going on is going to blow up in your face.

So put some boots on and get ready to get in the mud. (You know that lotuses come from the mud, right?)

Dealing with situations that aren’t easy is part of your commitment to your projects and plans. If it’s not that important, questioning your choices is a way to get to the bottom of what you really want. On the other hand, if this is what you really want and you’re still holding back from dealing with people/situations/setbacks, why are you self-sabotaging?

10 of Pentacles

This card reminds me of the family in Brothers and Sisters. Not all the drama, but how they’re a rather large family that doesn’t have money problems and they’re all close. They support each other. If one of the kids of the kids has a thing (school event, science fair, etc.), the whole family shows up with their significant others.

Same for that show Parenthood. It’s all dysfunctional, but not really because they all end up totally supporting one another. I love these types of shows for some reason. It makes me feel like there’s connection in life and family. Those stories have to come from somewhere!

The 10 of Pentacles is about loyalty, security, and support from those who are family (this really could mean real relatives or family of friends), that can go through generations. It represents a sense of being able to let your guard down because people and connections have your back. Gosh darn it, people like you.

It can even indicate that people like you so much, you’re about to receive an inheritance. It could be from investments, family, or the gods. High rolling business deals could be at work here as well as the buying of real estate, commercial or residential. It’s a good time to invest more.

With the 3 of Cups it could indicate a family reunion.

Reversed:

This card is a bummer when it’s reversed. It means there’s a possible/horrible financial loss. It can also have to do with family or close friends losing trust in the seeker. Hard-to-build-back kind of trust. It indicates that real estate may have to go up for sale in order to cover other financial losses. Seeking out a financial adviser and revamping budgets is definitely in order.

The 9 of Pentacles

One of my favorite cards, the 9 of Pentacles is an independent woman who makes her own security financially, is very comfortable in her own skin, and enjoys life on her terms.

Up:
This can be a person who has created happiness and harmony for themselves. One who may spend time alone enjoying life and the things that delight them. This card can also represent a home or office atmosphere that is harmonious. It can refer to money being spent on furniture, home improvements, real estate, or studio decor. This card represents a lifestyle that is pleasing to the seeker or characteristics of someone whom the seeker will be able to identify. The solitary aspect of this card can be a clue into the seeker’s needs being met and those that are not met possibly driving them into a solitary lifestyle, and life goals that may not be shared with partners.

Reversed:
I never like to see this card reversed in spreads simply because it means there’s a rift in the force at home or in the office. Something has caused a disrupt in chi. Sometimes it’s merely a repair of some kind, though it can also be cause for more serious matters such as the loss of money, selling of real estate out of need for money, the need to reestablish a business or project, or the need to start over.

Suits and Their Astrological Attributes

Each suit has astrological attributes depending on their element.
If you know anything about astrology, even if you’re not an astrologer (I’m not), it’s helpful when interpreting the feelings of the pip cards and court card personalities.

Yes/No Cards

Aces are all Yes/No Cards.

Though any card in the deck can give insight as to whether a situation is Divinely purposed, the Aces reveal definite raw energy for the situation at hand.

Ace of Cups

Up: A Divine yes that is emotionally fulfilling and heart purposed.
Reversed: A no. The situation is not going to fulfill your heart’s desire.

Ace of Swords

Up: The strongest of Ace yeses. This cuts through to the higher self’s pragmatic knowing sidestepping the ego’s fears and fog.
Reversed: A strong no. Perhaps a Hell no. Don’t do it. Absolutely not. Don’t go there. Not gonna happen.

Ace of Wands

Up: A yes with creative passion behind it. A go for it with projects and situations. Usually revolving around work, hobbies, and new endeavors.
Reversed: A no—Somehow things just don’t click. The group doesn’t jive, the project isn’t sound or set up well, the foundation is not strong and flakey even.

Ace of Pentacles

Up: Woot! yes. Spiritually and Financially this is a yes. It’s a powerful yes that needs staying on top of. Keeping your mission at the forefront at all times. It works when you are aligned with intentions that stay focused.
Reversed: Intentions are not quite right for this. Money isn’t there. Mission isn’t true or sound somehow.
